And ladies and Gentlemen … the ones who do care… these are the faces of India in 2009… Thank you very much… Unlike the Miss Universe pageant, a Donald Trump enterprise, I wonder which God’s child on Earth really cares about the Miss India pageant… The event perished with Ash and Sush takin over the world & our universe (in that order) and maybe later Priyanka Chopra making an attempt on the same (in no particular order)…

I say this with utmost concern but the quality of this “dream contest” has really diminished…I mean, when I was 13, all I dreamt off was to compete one day and I swear I ordered All Mighty to ensure that I turned out to be a 5′7″ tall lady… Well, thank God for 5′5″… because the way this pageant is going, I have serious doubts if many teenaged girls in India share the same dream today… I mean, surely we have real Desi beauties stocked away somewhere in India? …. where are those ladies?? … I encourage each one of them to turn this event around. Give it the meaning it truely deserves… Maybe ABCL ought to take over like they did way back in the day…. Anyways just for the record, I posted the pic of newly selected Miss India World Pooja Chopra (R), Miss India Earth Shriya Kishore (C) and Miss India Universe Ekta Chaudhary (L) as they win their respective pageants during Pantaloons Femina Miss India Pageant 2009 in Mumbai…
