Model Lakshmi Menon is all across the Vogue May 09 issue fresh off the press in North America… I picked a few of my fav ensembles… The Gold Christian Louboutins with the white YSL (left most pic) is such a DREAM beach-wedding outfit, it gives me butterflies! Anyways, Lakshmi is also sporting Jewelry by Louis Vuitton.. The skirt in white (third pic below) is by Moschino and soo apt for summer (which I cannot wait for btw) and those are some very cool Chloe Sandals i.e. perfect for the beach or the poolside or a stroll around Central Park (Whatever floats yo boat) … Take a look…

The locales speak for themselves… G-O-A! But, this ain’t the cheap beachy-touristy side of Goa, Vogue is romancing the city’s upscale landmarks and showing off the Lakshmi Menon’s Indian tones with such grace!

Actually, this model is worth a mention… She’s been around on the NY scene for a while and unlike the wannabees, she delivers the goods and lets her work do the TALKing. Padma Lakshmi may have married her way to fame and Frieda Pinto’s 15 minute stint in Slumdog Millionaire may have put the Indian face on the Hollywood circuit but Lakshmi Menon is ruling the E-L-I-T-E Modelling Circuit. Shes been working for Givenchy, Derek Lam, Badgley Mischka, Tibi and MaxMara.

Lakshmi was also ALL over NYC FASHION Week (in the pics here)… I may as well say it out loud….”Watch out Padma & Pinto, you gals got some serious competition” !
