Anything can happen in Bollyland and that’s why, despite running the risk of being called Filmy, I love this place. You can seriously get away with Murder and change your game faster than any tactic on the Cricket Field, especially at the IPL…However that is the story in Cricket aka SRK’s-lottery-ticket-in-South-Africa this year but back to filmy shores, Bollyland is a place where doing the 360 degree turn-around is not just a way of resorting to desperate measures, it’s a means of livelihood. Let me elaborate…

YASH RAJ FILMS, until now has maintained and even elevated their “no press allowed” motto. Translation: No photogs, No Press Releases, No Snippets, No Footage on Cast, Crew, Story line, Scenes, Behind the scenes, or even a sound byte! No means nada, nothing, zip. Psychologically speaking, playing the soundtracks on a top 10 show without the video made the masses ever so curious and flock like a herd of sheep to the theatres while Yash Raj Films waltzed all the way to bank. It was that sweet sound of CHA-CHING that made the banner totally misuse their “exclusivity” card to the hilt.

However like everything that must go up…it must come down… and YRF slowly started loosing its steam…Therefore desperate times call for desperate measures… surprisingly, in a good way actually. Because it’s about time to take it to the next level…and YRF is doing exactly that!…Their new movie, PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE featuring Priyanka Chopra and Uday Chopra, is fully EXPLOITING THE INTERNET…! It’s a 360 turn around from the exclusivity cat-n-mouse game where Yash Raj is now UPLOADING complete footage from pre-production to daily production and I’m assuming this reality show will go on way beyond the movie’s release… Finally! Now making a full U-TURN to his advantage is an art he possesses apart from his excellent acting skills. With his Blog sometimes serving as his ‘get-out-a-jail-free’ card, this man makes & breaks his own rules. After expressing his humble opinion on Slumdog Millionaire - which was so blown out’a proportion by the Media, this seasoned player is having fun using the same media to paint him in a new light WITH Slumdog Millionaire as his backdrop – GENIUS, I SAY!!! Making a classic U-turn, Big B landed straight into the RESUL POOKUTTY band of sound technicians by honoring their work. SLICK does not even BEGIN to cover this guy! AVS is covering this event fully in support of BIG B and BollyLand Sound Techy’s who can give Hollywood tech geeks a run for their money…

Oh and here’s the BIG DADDY of Desperate Measures - Guess who is connecting with Rap moghuls… Bappi Lahiri and his Gold Chains are an absolute match for the 50 Cents Rapper, Jetta’s Bling Bling… I hate the sight of Gold because of THIS man!! … Someone needs to give him a WARDROBE MAKEOVER PRONTO… however on second thoughts, that would totally defeat the purpose of his signature style (or lack thereof)… Old is definitely GOLD when it comes to this musician of yester-years, who is releasing a new tune - which you should tune in for a look-see, its one for the giggles…
