CoverBoy of the Month – Ranbir Kapoor

So, May is coming to an end… Can you believe we are half way into 2009? Gosh, so much to do and so lil time! I mean I was in India this past January which feels like just yesterday (to celebrate my birthday which was sooooo fantabulous that I cant give details , sorry haha) …. On the bright side, spring is over & June, here we come… I have a feeling summer this year will be ultra special…dunno why but I know it! Dont I sound all perky and happy? Its the 4th coffee of the day thats got me bouncing off the walls and I cant wait for this week’s episode! So, while the boys (Saurabh & Raju) are slogging away in the editing room at the studio on a friday evening, I get to chill out and do whatever I want… And here I am in this quaint little cafe in the west village (Perry St), flipping through magazines to see whats up EVERYWHERE in the World i.e. in India & in Bollyland… And ….EVERY one of them has got this dude…Ranbir Kapoor!

He is “world famous in India”… <couldn’t resist that one> ..Anyways, I picked out a few covers of all these mags & I think Ranbir Kapoor makes a decent coverboy (except for him tweezing his eyebrows urghhhh)… I mean, its no rocket science, anyone can tell that this guy has a lot riding on him (with the hype and everything…) and he also features on our newbees list… But with these mags, its so obvious that the world is obsessed with the kid… I am not (DISCLAIMER)…but I do think that for a new comer, even though he HASN’T been able to carry a movie on his shoulders, he CAN definitely sell the print!
