On Sunday June 12th, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the centre of attention at the 162nd edition of the Prix De Diane in Chantilly. Her peach embellished dress from the Elie Saab Spring 2011 collection matched her sophisticated hat and Aishwarya’s entry matched her regal outfit – she was brought on to the race course in a carriage just like the Queen of England had marked her arrival 35 years ago in 1976!

Her style statement created quite a stir amongst the international and national fashion world. From applauding her choice of colour to complimenting the grace with which she carried off her hat, Aishwarya has charmed her fans the world over once again.

Speaking about Aishwarya’s choice of outfit, Priya Tanna, Editor Vogue India said, “ Aishwarya has a classic, elegant style that never overwhelms her personality. She wears clothes, not the other way around. Her sartorial choices are rarely off the mark. Her Elie Saab dress at the Prix De Diane perfectly compliments that famed porcelain skin and exemplifies her feminine aesthetic”.

Style bistro, a popular fashion site, writes “The actress who is always the picture of high glamour, this time too turned many heads with her unique fashion sense at the event. The star was looking breathtaking and highly sophisticated.”

Another French website called Aishwarya’s look divine adding, “The L’Oreal  L’Oreal has dazzled the Cannes Film Festival has once again revealed her beauty in France.”

Last year Aishwarya was spotted in a completely different look at the Ascots in England. Her dress suit had created as much a stir then as her summery look has this year.
