Eight years of love and a much-hyped breakup, but Bipasha Basu has little to complain about. Officially single and enjoying the status, the ‘Players’ hottie gives us her take on the one thing she will never loose on: love. Says the former model, “For me, love is very important. I think my biggest priority in life is love. And it’s not just the man-woman kind of love, but love for family, friends, work, etc. I can teach everyone the language and lessons of love very well.”
We agree. When Bips and John Abraham were a couple they were always seen hand in hand, complementing each other’s presence at all occasions. But when the relationship went sour, the cracks were clearly visible. And rumours reached a point when talks were such that John refused to work with Bips. But that seems to be a thing of the past as Bipasha says, “I believe that if one relationship doesn’t work out then that is not the end of the world. You have to move on. Like how I am celebrating being single this season.” Bipasha proved it so on her birthday, where she celebrated the day with her girlfriends. And ask her about the benefits of being single and Bips turns diplomatic, “There is a plus to both. If you find your eternal love or soul mate then you are happily in love and a couple. Else you celebrate being yourself.”
Bips describes her Mr Right as her ‘Jodi Breakers’ co-star R Madhavan as she says, “I want a man just like Maddy. He is a fabulous husband and a great friend. He loves to live his life king size, a foodie, and very much into outdoor sports. Maddy loves to travel, and is a very passionate man. But I would obviously want a fitter and younger Maddy.”
All charged up about her next release, ‘Jodi Breakers’, Bips says, “I play Sonali in the film. She is exactly like me, who believes that two people are supposed to be together if only there is love, and if not, to give life another chance go out and find your love.”
