Shah Rukh Khan may be the king of entertainment and Salman Khan the trendsetter, but when it comes to digging out new publicity and marketing methods, there is no one like Aamir Khan. The actor is known to come out with trendsetting gimmicks. So if for ‘3 Idiots’ the actor went talking about the film in school and colleges – the team of ‘Aarakshan’ followed suit later – then for ‘Ghajini’ he practically turned barber. And now for his next film ‘Talaash’, Aamir has decided to grab eyeballs with the poster itself. So rather than having the usual posters, Aamir’s ‘Taalash’ is digitalised. An interestingly designed poster, it gives an effect of an entire city lying within a mustached Aamir and an all-explaining tagline stating – the answer lies within. However, before you give Aamir the benefit of starting a trend again (in film marketing that is), we suggest you have a look at Ek Tha Tiger.
The first teaser of ‘Talaash’ was released this week and let’s just say, the wait has begun!
