After ‘3 Idiots’, which was inspired by his novel ‘Five Point Someone’, it looks like Chetan Bhagat’s next book is ready to be filmed. A film based on his book ‘2 States’, which reportedly is the story of how he and his wife got together, will be co-produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Karan Johar. It is reported that Imran Khan has been finalized to play the lead in the film with Deepika Padukone, Asin Thottumkal, and Priyanka Chopra in the running for the role of the female lead. However, given that the film is to be directed by Punit Malhotra, his lady love Sonam Kapoor could well be a part of the project.
