Is it a mid-life crisis? Or is it a realistic view enabled by the wisdom of age? Karan Johar, head of Dharma Productions, director, producer and even talk show host, recently celebrated his 40th birthday. Not too soon after, Karan was quoted as saying, “I am incomplete, incapable and also not a versatile filmmaker. I cannot make an action film, a thriller, or a dark film.” Karan has won the Best Director Filmfare Award twice, for ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’, and is currently busy with his next directorial venture ‘Student of The Year’.
