Two-time National Award winning actress Tabu has not been seen in a Bollywood film for two years now. That is not to say she has given up on films altogether. She has made appearances in films down South and will soon be seen in ‘Life of Pi’, directed by ‘Brokeback Mountain’ director Ang Lee. She won’t be disappointing her Hindi film fans either since she is part of Bejoy Nambiar’s ‘David’. She also recently signed on to play a gun-toting gangster in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s, ‘Revolver Rani’. If a short absence means Tabu will be able to enact roles similar to her ‘Maachis’, ‘Virasat’ and ‘Chandni Bar’ characters, instead of inanities, we shall wait patiently.
