The last time Ranbir Kapoor and Sajid Nadiadwala came together was for ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, which although didn’t set the box office on fire, did reasonably well. Now, however, the potential of their alliance has been strengthened because Imtiaz Ali has joined the team. Imtiaz, who directed ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Love Aaj Kal’ recently, directed the commercially and critically successful ‘Rockstar’ starring Ranbir. Sajid is probably rubbing his hands in glee at having secured this pair for his next film. Originally, Sajid’s next was to have starred Hriithik Roshan, but the actor is apparently only willing to sign up for sure-fire hits and so Ranbir stepped in to save the day.
