Apoorva Lakhia is remaking the 1973 hit ‘Zanjeer’, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Pran. And while Jaya did not sing in the original, we hear Priyanka Chopra who is playing the same character in the remake will be singing a song for the movie. Actor Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja is taking on Amitabh Bachchan’s role in the movie. We also hear that Salman Khan, whose father Salim scripted the original movie has offered Apoorva tips on PC’s character for the remake. Well, who said a remake had to be dull?
