Bela Sehgal’s directorial debut has an interesting promotional strategy. The first poster for ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ saw the actors of the film, Boman Irani and Farah Khan, dressed up like Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan from the iconic poster of ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ in the costumes for the song ‘Didi Tera Devar Deewana’. Now, the second poster of the film has been released and it has Boman and Farah dressed up as Rahul and Anjali, roles played by Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. Apparently, the idea is to bring to mind love stories that have captured the audience’s imagination in the past. A third poster is to be unveiled soon.
