Music composer Pritam Chakraborty is probably enjoying the success of Homi Adjania’s ‘Cocktail’. The movie’s music was used as a marketing strategy to popularize the film prior to its release and tracks like ‘Tum Hi Ho Bandhu’, ‘Daaru Desi’, and ‘Second Hand Jawaani’ were very popular among the audiences. Now we hear that Pritam has been asked to compose a background score for Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi!’ since the lead character in the film, played by Ranbir Kapoor, is mute and hearing impaired. Pritam is also composing music for much anticipated films like ‘Ishkq In Paris’, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Race 2′, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2′ and ‘Dhoom 3′ among others. Happy times for Pritam, indeed.
