Arjun Rampal plays a superstar in Madhur Bhandarkar’s much-anticipated ‘Heroine’, but he insists the character is not based on India’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna, who recently passed away. Describing his experience filming the movie as fantastic, he says his character in the film is not based on any one person but is what Madhur created. Arjun, who has silenced his detractors with a National Award, says he enjoyed enacting intimate scenes with Kareena. “Who wouldn’t like to share screen space with Kareena? And no, I didn’t get any threatening calls from Saif. He and I are good friends and he knows Kareena is safe with me,” he claimed.
