Bollywood seems to be suffering from the Olympics fever. And why not? Most stars seem to be rooting for India, cheering on our players. And yesterday, when Gagan Narang won the bronze medal, twitter was abuzz with congratulatory messages pouring in for the man. Actress Deepika Padukone said, “And Gagan Narang gets India our first Olympic medal! Moment of pride for the nation and the team.”

Akshay Kumar has always been taking a keen interest in sports. His post read, “Finally, some good news for India. India opens an account in the London Olympics 2012. Congrats, Gagan Narang! May your medal be the first of many for India.”

Abhishek Bachchan too wasn’t behind in wishing the shooter as he said, “Gagan Narang. Respect! You make us all proud.” It should be noted here that Bachchan is also slated to make an appearance at the Olympics on August 2.
