He might have not seen a big hit post ‘Kaminey’. And his films like ‘Mausam’ and ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ indeed were disappointing. But that hasn’t deterred filmmakers from signing Shahid Kapoor. He has been roped in by producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips for a film. Director Rajkumar Santoshi is said to hold the reins of direction for this project. Interestingly, Shahid made his debut in Bollywood under Tips with ‘Ishq Vishq’ and later went on to do films like ‘Fida’ and ‘Kismat Konnection’ under the same banner.

As for other films, Shahid is doing Prabhu Deva’s next titled ‘Namak’. He had also signed a project under YRF, to be directed by Maneesh Sharma of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ fame. Rumors were also rife that Sasha was to do a film titled ‘Heer Ranjha’ opposite Deepika Padukone.
