Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’ is supposedly a love story, a desi Romeo-Juliet. However, we see the makings of a mystery. Initially, we heard that Kareena Kapoor would not play Sanjay’s Juliet because she was getting married. Kareena later clarified that it was actually a problem with dates and money that caused her ouster. Then we heard Priyanka Chopra was filling in for Kareena since Katrina wasn’t available. Now, we hear Deepika Padukone, still basking in the accolades she received for ‘Cocktail’, will bring Sanjay’s vision to life. With no official word, the mystery reigns. We are hoping Sanjay’s decision to have Ranveer Singh portray his Romeo is final.
