A sequel to ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’ was announced soon after the movie released to appreciation from audience and critics alike. The movie explored the politics of male-female relationships alongside the political maneuvers of a small town in North India. We expected the sequel to follow the same trend. However, the tone of the sequel might be slightly more subdued. The sequel has a new addition in the form of Irrfan Khan, who has worked with director Tigmanshu Dhulia in ‘Haasil’ and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. The two men are good friends so when Irrfan requested a less steamy sequel, we are told Tigmanshu obliged. An item number by Neha Dhupia might add some spice though.
