‘Mishti is one of the best actors I have ever found’ said Subhash Ghai after completing his 9-day shoot of ‘Kaanchi’ with his new find from Kolkata.

‘I am so relieved that I found an actor to play Kaanchi just as I had conceived. She is a combination of beauty and talent. After working with talented hero, Kartik Tiwari, and other cast, I can confidently say that ‘Kaanchi’ is surely going to be a winner this year. How big it will be I do not know since I am still making it and waiting to complete the film for 15th August release’, says Ghai.

Everyone on the sets of ‘Kaanchi’ are raving about Mishti’s acting, talent and beauty in front of the camera. According to Ghai, her chemistry with Kartik Tiwari has been talked by all who have seen the shoot. Kartik plays one of the leads in the film.

A few songs have already been recorded and are composed by Ismail Darbar and Irshad Kamil.

‘I am extremely happy with the music by Ismail Darbar and Salim Sulaiman and the amazing lyrics by Irshad Kamil’ said Ghai.

Other actors in the movie include Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakroborthy  who play important roles in the film.
